Paul trained first at The Aberdeen Academy of Dance and then at The Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts in Covent Garden, London. 
He performed in professional theatre for over fifteen years, appearing in a variety of shows on uk and international tours and on London's West End, including the musicals: 'Cats', 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Saturday Night Fever', and 'Dirty Dancing'. 
He also danced with opera companies, holding dance captain positions at 'The Scottish Opera' and 'Welsh National Opera', as well as being assistant choreographer for productions at both 'The Royal Opera House' and 'Glyndebourne Opera House'.
Paul has been teaching for over ten years and now runs Dance Hub Edinburgh.
